Barrel time!
The time has come for us to put the home brew into the barrel for it to mature and clear. It is at this point where we have to add more sugar, unfortunately we own no scales, and we have to put 2½ oz in. Humm...
We have an idea :) 1 bag of sugar weighs 1kg, that's about 2.2lbs if our GCSE Science has been remembered. There are 16oz in a pound. So, we have 35.2oz in a full bag. If we find the volume of a full bag, and take 1/14 of this, this should be the right amount of sugar...

Wow... 1kg of sugar is 1 litre
So we need about 70ml of sugar
We can start adding the beer to the barrel now!
Oh well....the late barreling has had to change the date of delivery :( I've changed the countdown accordingly.
